Domaine Chevalier Rognet Le Corton 2000 is a full-bodied red Burgundy from the Grand Cru climat of Rognet Le Corton in the Corton appellation of the Côte de Beaune. The Pinot Noir grapes for this cuvée are sourced from a single parcel called Rognet et Corton (the first climat granted Grand Cru status on the Ladoix side of Corton`s slopes), situated in the village of Ladoix-Serrigny. The wine was matured in local oak barrels (50% new) for 12 months.
