Armand Heitz is a young and dynamic winemaker who took over his family’s estate in Chassagne-Montrachet in 2012 – now renamed Domaine Armand Heitz. He is committed to the most sustainable way of cultivating grapes and is developing a permaculture-based working method. This release comes from the Domaine’s parcel in the Grand Cru Corton-Charlemagne, boasting marly soils rich in clay. Expect a medium-bodied Chardonnay, with a refreshing, zippy acidity and a lovely string of minerality.
