Cockburn`s Vintage 2015

Founded in 1815, Cockburn’s is now part of the Symington Family stable and is well-known for producing Port with superb balance of power and elegance. The 2015 Bicentenary release is a blend of old vine Touriga Franca (41%) and Touriga Nacional (37%) with smaller portions of Sousão and Alicante Bouschet. From a wonderful vintage, this is compact and tightly-wound, in many ways harking back to the impenetrable young Ports of bygone eras. That said, there is much to admire in this wine and it should flourish if given at least 20+ years in the cellar.
