Description
Domaine Ponsot is one of the most respected producers in Burgundy and has a great track record of innovation, being one of the first to practise estate bottling in the 1930s. All fruit is sorted in the vineyard prior to hand-harvesting ensuring only the finest quality bunches are used and maturation is only ever in used barrels. The 2016 perhaps exhibits a little more restraint and poise than the 2015, making it ideal for extended cellaring.
