Château Clinet is a prestigious wine estate in the Pomerol appellation on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. The property has a long history dating back to the 16th century and is currently managed by Ronan Laborde and Monique Bailly. The wines of Château Clinet are predominantly made from Merlot, with smaller percentages of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc also in the blend. The 2020 vintage was marked by a very rainy spring, followed by a hot and particularly dry summer. While the grapes harvested at full maturity were small in size, their health was outstanding.
