Fattoria Selvapiana is an Italian winery located in the Chianti Rufina region. Recognized as one of the pioneers in Tuscany, the estate was among the first to produce a ‘riserva’ wine exclusively from the Sangiovese grape. This particular release hails from the 1983 vintage, characterized by favourable weather conditions in Tuscany. The good weather contributed to an exceptionally healthy harvest, allowing for a comfortable and timely grape picking before the usual schedule.
