Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Cuvee A Tempo Pegau Magnum 2015

Famed Châteauneuf-du-Pape producer, Domaine de Pegau, only introduced a premium white cuvée to their range in 2014. Named Cuvée a Tempo Blanc it is made from equal parts Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Clairette from a single lieu-dit, vinified and matured in a combination of stainless steel and aged barriques. The 2015 is a terrific release now in its peak drinking phase. Offering up alluring note of stone fruits, anise, citrus blossom, bergamot and chalky minerality, this is a crisp, precise and detailed wine that would pair perfectly with meaty white fish such as monkfish or halibut.
