Mounir and Rotem Saouma, of Burgundy producer Lucien Le Moine, have always had profound love for the Grenache variety and of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, and have slowly managed to acquire 21 acres of exceptional quality vines across all its 5 villages. Arioso comes from a tiny plot in the prime area of Pignan with vines planted in the 1930s and is made from 100% Grenache. From the brilliant 2010 vintage this incredibly vibrant and bold, exhibiting sublime notes of sweet-sour cherry, wild herbs and dried flowers. It is wonderfully fresh, with a keen sense of energy and effortlessly flows across the palate with stylish élan.
