This Bordeaux blend hails from the Agrelo vineyard, positioned at 3,117 feet at the base of the Andes. The vines here benefit from a wide temperature range, experiencing sunny days and cool nights, resulting in a heightened concentration of flavours, aromas, and the necessary tannic structure for prolonged ageing. Catena Zapata Estiba Reservada displays a deep violet colour with red ruby highlights. The nose is multi-layered, featuring cedar, ripe red cassis, tobacco, and sweet spice. On the palate, red fruit flavours are complemented by hints of black pepper and eucalyptus.
