Catena Adrianna Vineyard River Malbec Magnum 2019

Since planting its initial Malbec vines in 1902, Catena has remained a pioneer in high-altitude Malbec production. The River Malbec takes its name from a small portion of the Adrianna Vineyard, distinguished by a covering of oval white stones, which marks the location of a former riverbed. These stones offer excellent drainage and extreme temperature conditions. They absorb heat and moderate nighttime temperatures while also acting as cooling agents after chilly nights. Malbec grown in stony soils tends to exhibit exceptional aromatic intensity, which is reflected in the River Malbec from Adrianna. The wine is available here in a striking magnum bottle.
