La Berangeraie is a family-owned estate in the Cahors appellation of Southwest France, known for producing high-quality red wines primarily made from the Malbec grape variety, also known as "Cot" or "Auxerrois" in this region. The estate is dedicated to sustainable viticulture and focuses on expressing the unique terroir of Cahors in their wines. The Cahors Les Quatres Chambrees Berangeraie 2015 displays a deep, inky purple colour. On the nose, the wine offers a complex bouquet of ripe black fruits, such as blackberries, black cherries and black plums, along with notes of black pepper, violet, and a hint of graphite. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, with concentrated fruit flavours, firm tannins and balancing acidity.
