The year of 1917 saw the birth of the first vintage of the emblematic brand Glorioso, the century-old label of Bodegas Cosme Palacio. More than ten decades later, Glorioso remains true to its essence of Rioja Alavesa. This particular release hails from the 1982 vintage, a legendary year for most of Spanish wine regions. The wines of Rioja were particular successful and plenty of excellent Gran Reservas were produced then.
