Bienvenues Batard Montrachet Domaine Leflaive 2010

Domaine Leflaive Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet 2010 is a full-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Grand Cru vineyard of Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet in the Puligny-Montrachet appellation of the Côte de Beaune. Domaine Leflaive is quite simply the most illustrious address in Puligny-Montrachet. Leflaive`s Grands Crus can be powerful yet austere when young and often require 10 to 15 years of ageing to show their true colours. The domaine has been certified biodynamic since 1997. "Things go up a notch or two with the 2010 Bienvenues-Batard-Montrachet, which appears to hover on the palate with the grace of a ballerina. The Bienvenues is all about weightless elegance and implied structure, but it is all there in the glass. At times a bit intellectual, the Bienvenues is nevertheless immensely appealing.
