Berberana has its roots in a modest family winery established by Mr. Miguel Martinez de Berberana in the Rioja Alta region in 1877. This 1975 Rioja Gran Reserva is a rare gem. It offers a classic nose of macerated cherries, complemented by hints of mushroom stew. As it evolves, the wine reveals notes of vanilla, salami, a hint of leather, aged furniture, and pomegranates.
