Benevolent Neglect is a relatively new producer in California, set up by winemakers Matt Nagy and Ben Brenner. For this handcrafted white wine, the organic Ribolla Gialla grapes are sourced from the Bengier Family Vineyard, a hidden gem inside of Napa Valley`s nested AVA Oak Knoll District. Fermented on skins, the wine shows quite a bit of minerality and zesty character, with a core of tropical fruit.
