Dagromis is Gaja’s interpretation of the Barolo region as a whole based on a blend of two vineyards, one adjacent to Sperss in Serralunga and one next to Conteisa in La Morra. 2016 was a sensational vintage in Piedmont and this already exhibits wonderfully intense notes of dark red fruits, blood orange, anise, wild herbs and earth. Whilst relatively overt in character, it is abundantly fresh, with mouth-filling texture and firm but perfectly ripe tannins.
