The Gaja Winery was founded in 1859 and has been owned and operated by five generations of the Gaja family. It is one of Italy’s most renowned and dynamic wineries and its importance cannot be overestimated. Conteisa is sourced from the famous Cerequio cru and the 2017 is a fine example from a challenging year for winemakers. Rich and expressive with its classic red fruit profile, this wine is silky and classy from the get go and very fresh with a finish that goes on forever.
