Balcones Baby Blue 3cl

Balcones Baby Blue is a corn-based craft whisky produced from roasted blue corn at the Balcomes Distillery in Waco, Texas. Baby Blue is reputed to be the first whisky to have been produced in Texas since Prohibition. The Balcones distillery was established by the hugely respected distiller Chip Tate in an old welding shop in Waco, Texas, in 2008. Tate built the distillery’s first stills himself, even coopering some of its original casks. Tate has been succeeded by Jared Himstedt. Balcones Baby Blue is an oily yet refined corn whisky with rounded nutty, roasted overtones and hints of vanilla, caramel and baked apple.
