Based in the Oak Knoll district of Napa Valley, Ashes & Diamonds is a relatively new winery which started operating in 2014. It is the brainchild of Kashy Khaledi, a creative executive in multimedia and advertising. The wines are focused on the old-school style of classic Napa Cabernet Sauvignon producers from the 1960s and 1970s, such as Robert Mondavi and Inglenook. This release is a classic and elegant expression of Cabernet, delivering beautiful notes of red currants and red berries, combined with tobacco, herbs, spices, dried roses and black tea.
