From a rugged single vineyard in the Knights Valley, Sonoma, La Carrière typically exhibits higher minerality and slightly leaner, more citrus-driven fruit than other wines in the portfolio. The 2014 is a wonderfully settled wine that is now absolutely delicious to drink. It is full-bodied and intense, with delightfully pure notes of honeyed stone fruits, citrus oils, acacia, hazelnut and a distinctive crushed stone minerality.
