Nikka was founded by Masataka Taketsuru, known as the ‘father of Japanese whisky’, in 1934. The company has two distilleries in Japan, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, that produce a range of whiskies with different styles and flavour profiles. This particular blend was only produced by Nikka in very small quantities from 1990 to 1997. The liquid is presented in a beautiful Cristal decanter from Kagam.
