Heitz Cellars is the iconic Napa Valley winery founded in 1961 by Joe and Alice Heitz. It is best known for its single vineyard wines made of Cabernet Sauvignon, and in particular the Martha`s Vineyard wine, the first vintage of which was 1966. The 1983 vintage has developed some mint and eucalyptus notes, complemented by dried fruits, umami and autumn forest. Available here in a fabulous magnum bottle.
