Based in Beaune, Lucien Le Moine is the prestigious négociant business run by the husband-and-wife team Mounir Saouma and Rotem Brakin, both of Lebanese origin. Their mission is to produce expressive, terroir-driven wines of exceptional purity. All the wines are sourced after fermentation, and they are focused on the élevage period of winemaking. This release hails from the Grand Cru Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet, one of the smallest AOCs in France covering just 1.6 hectares of land. Despite the hot and dry weather conditions, 2020 Burgundy is marked by classically styled wines, with consistent quality in the white.
