Bouchard Père & Fils is one of France’s oldest wine estates with a history that spans nearly three centuries. It is also one of the largest landowners in Burgundy, with vineyard holdings totalling approximately 130 hectares. This release hails from the Montrachet Grand Cru, where Bouchard acquired a 0.88-hectare parcel in 1838. 2002 marked yet another triumph in a series of successful years for Burgundy and these wines are now scarce.
