Rennina 2016 has impressive depth to the colour with the fruit being rather dark in character. The wine opens up to hints of tobacco and savoury herbs, giving way to sour cherries, spices and earth. Elegant and silky on the palate, with layers of ripe red fruits and punctuated by dried lemon peel, liquorice, black tea and some minerality. Fine tannins permeate the mouthfeel, creating a dry and structured finish. Best consumed from 2025 onwards to enjoy its full potential.
