Member of the exclusive circle of 1855 Crus Classés, Château Branaire-Ducru is a 4th Classified Growth. The 2018 vintage is a blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot, showing a firm tannic structure. There are lovely fruity notes of raspberries, blackberries and blackcurrants, along with hawthorn, brambles and a sprinkle of black pepper. Still very young but very promising in 5 years’ time.
