Founded in 1798, Blair Athol Distillery is situated at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands in the quaint town of Pitlochry, Perthshire. It’s a relatively underrated whisky producer which only releases one single malt consistently. This 14-year-old is however independently bottled by Mossburn. It offers aromas of dried fruits, baking spices and honey. On the palate, there are notes of caramel custard, raisins and roasted nuts.
