Bruno Giacosa has been a key name on the Piemonte wine-making scene for many decades and has become synonymous with some of the most exceptional Barbaresco and Barolos ever produced. The 2016 vintage was awarded a prestigious 100 point score by James Suckling, who describes the vintage as follows, "The purity of fruit is sensational in this young Barolo, offering blackberries, black truffle and iron.
