Cantina Bartolo Mascarello is regarded by wine critics as one of the best Barolo producers of all time. Founded in 1918, its reputation was cemented by the late Bartolo Mascarello, and since 2005 by his daughter Maria-Teresa Mascarello, whose first vintage was in 1993. This 1973 Barolo is at its glorious peak of maturity, having acquired a striking complexity over the years. sweet, dried cherries, tobacco, with earthy and vegetal undertones.
