A full-bodied, fragrant red wine with an exuberant character. Dark in appearance and with a dense consistency, it has an intense garnet red colour. The nose reveals pronounced aromas of flowers and red berries, in particular strawberries. The palate is marked by layers of spice, minerality and menthol notes, and an aftertaste of cherries and liquorice. The wine is dry, warm and restrained. A perfect accompaniment to aged hard cheeses such as Grana Padano and Bitto.
