Man O’War is one of the preeminent estates on the intriguing island of Waiheke. The 2017 Dreadnought Syrah is a blend of 7 steep hillside plots aged mostly in seasoned French oak. It is classical in style with lifted red fruits, graphite minerality and a peppery savouriness. Less intense than previous vintages, this is best for short to medium term consumption.
