Vosne-Romanée is the small village in the Côte de Nuits world-renowned for producing exquisitely balanced Pinot Noir wines. Originally named just Vosne, the commune took the suffix ‘Romanée’ in 1866 in honour of its most prized vineyard, ‘La Romanée’. The 1970 vintage from producer Domaine Thomas Frères offers a soft, fruity and inviting expression of this red Burgundy.
