Domaine David Duband lies in Chevannes, in the heart of the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits and produces incredibly refined and elegant wines from 17 hectares of organically certified vineyards stretching from Nuits-Saint-Georges to Gevrey-Chambertin.
One of the unsung stars of his portfolio is this superb Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru which is produced from vines that are upwards of 85 years of age. One of the most rich, powerful and amply structured of all his wines, this will likely require a few more years in the cellar to be approachable and should comfortably age for 10-30 years.
