Virginie de Valandraud is the second wine of the highly acclaimed Château Valandraud and was first produced in 1992. Though grown and vinified in exactly the same way as the grand vin, it is made from younger vine fruit and, due to its slightly different blend, has developed its own identity. From the superb 2016 vintage, this is a delicious blend of 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
