Virginie de Valandraud is the second wine of the highly acclaimed Château Valandraud and was first produced in 1992. Though grown and vinified in exactly the same way as the grand vin, it is made from younger vine fruit and, due to its slightly different blend, has developed its own identity. From the superb 2019 vintage, this is a delicious blend of dark fruits, sweet spice and cedar following through to a medium to full bodied palate and a savoury finish. Sold in glorious large format.
