Run for more than 20 years by third-generation vigneron Christine Vernay, Domaine Georges Vernay is an iconic Northern Rhône estate, famous for its Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu. Le Pied de Samson is made from 100% Viognier from VDP Collines Rhodaniennes. This is a delicious mid-weight wine with lovely richness of perfectly ripe stone fruits but balanced by superb elegance and freshness. Best drunk young, this is basically an exceptionally good value mini-Condrieu.
