Savennieres Chamboureau Domaine FL 2016

Domaine FL was created in 2007 by uniting two existing Loire Valley estates, Domaine Jo Pithon in Anjou and Château de Chamboureau in Savennières. Having built a new winery and converted to organic farming methods, it is considered one of the finest producers of dry Chenin Blanc in the region. The 2016 is rich, round and energetic, exhibiting deliciously pure notes of baked apples, peach and tropical fruits, with honey, nuts and salty minerality. This is quite a lush, modern style of Chenin but is superbly well-balanced and is exceptionally versatile in terms of food pairings.
