Established in 1988, François Legros is a family-run wine estate situated in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Their current holdings comprise eight hectares of vines spread across twenty different parcels in Saint-Aubin, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis and Vougeot. This is the domaine’s 2018 ‘Murgers des Dents de Chien’, a premier cru vineyard in the Saint-Aubin appellation. Aged for 10 months in oak barrels [25% new], this is a beautifully scented wine, displaying notes of exotic fruits, hazelnuts and chalky minerality. Only 1,000 bottles were produced.
