Hailing from the coolest, northernmost sections of their Fort Ross-Seaview vineyard, Ma Danseuse is a sensationally sleek, Burgundy-esque Pinot Noir from the illustrious Peter Michael Winery. 2013 was an exceptional vintage in California and this release has wonderful concentration of red fruits, forest floor, spices and earthy minerality. Though silken in texture and bright in aromatics, there is no shortage of power and drive, making this an ideal wine to serve alongside richly flavoured roast duck dishes.
