Founded in 1859, Louis Jadot owns holdings in some of the most illustrious vineyards in Burgundy, such as Bonnes Mares, Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières, Corton-Charlemagne, Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Musigny and Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses. The winemaking at Louis Jadot is currently overseen by Frédéric Barnier, who joined the estate in 2010. Les Boudots borders the Premier Cru vineyards of Vosne-Romanée, at the northern edge of the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation. Due to the thin soil in the region, it produces small, concentrated berries which make exceptional wines.
