Domaine des Comtes Lafon is a leading wine producer based in Meursault, where it has holdings in some of the most prestigious vineyards. The estate is currently led by fourth generation family member Dominique Lafon, who inherited the winery from his father in the mid-1980s. This 2013 release comes from the Premier Cru ‘Les Genevrières’, where the domaine owns a 0.55-hectare plot. Expect aromas of lemon, citrus peel, hazelnut and gunflint. On the palate, the wine shows excellent precision with flinty notes that came along with razor-sharp acidity.
