Mauro Godello 2016

Bodegas Mauro is a premium winery established in 1978 in the historic town of Tudela de Duero, in the province of Valladolid. However, they produce a white wine from the Godello variety, sourced from two vineyards in Bierzo and is labelled under the generic Vino de la tierra Castilla y León appellation. It is fermented and matured with fine lees in 500-litre barrels, giving an aromatically complex and delightfully textural wine that is both delicious when consumed young but has the potential for short term cellaring. Only 5,354 bottles were produced.
