Helen Turley is regarded as one of the most influential figures in Californian wine over the past 30 years having either worked or consulted for some of the region’s finest wineries (e.g Peter Michael, Colgin and Bryant). She her established her own label, Marcassin (French for ‘young wild boar’, in 1991

Three Sisters Chardonnay is a cuvée no longer made by Turley as the fruit is now used by Martinelli Vineyards, from whom she used to purchase the fruit. This is an incredibly small production wine of just several hundred cases and has a superb reputation for its innate complexity and ageworthiness. Robert Parker gave this a score of 95 points and a drinking window up to 2022.
