Nestled in the heart of Soings-en-Sologne, 35 km from Blois, Claude Courtois and his sons meticulously craft their wines using ancestral methods, staunchly advocating for natural wine. The vineyards strictly adhere to principles of no pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, chemical fertilizers, or synthetic substances. The resulting wines are pure and vibrant, a testament to exceptional biodynamic winemaking. This particular offering is a single-varietal Côt, also known as Malbec outside of France. Following the domaine`s approach, the grapes are destemmed and undergo extended maceration. Red wines age for 20-40 months in used Bordeaux barrels, and they are bottled without filtration or fining, with zero added sulphur or only a minimal quantity.
