Leoville Las Cases 600cl 2019

Situated in the Saint-Julien appellation, Château Léoville-Las Cases is a Second Growth wine estate that has been owned by the Delon family since the mid-20th century. The property covers 98 hectares of vineyards, which soils are mostly gravel over sand and clay, with some areas where the clay reaches the surface. This release is the 2019 vintage, presented in a 600cl bottle. It is a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, aged in 90% new oak. The resulting wine shows immense depth, offering notes of cassis, dark berries, tobacco leaves and pencil shavings. An exceptional ageing potential with many years of cellaring ahead of it.
