Established in 1731, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of Burgundy’s oldest wine estates with a history that spans nearly three centuries. In 1995, the estate was acquired by the Henriot family, whose portfolio also includes William Fèvre, Beaux Frères, Château de Poncié and Champagne Henriot. This release is the domaine’s 2005 ‘La Romanée’, the smallest appellation in France, covering only 0.8 hectares. Expect notes of cherries, redcurrants, smoke, earth and spices.
