Situated on the prime plateau of Pomerol, Château La Fleur-Pétrus neighbours the iconic Châteaux Lafleur and Petrus and is part of the remarkable stable of wines produced by the Moueix family. From the supremely underrated 2014 vintage this is a charming release comprising mostly Merlot with tiny amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It is medium-bodied, focussed and wonderfully elegant, providing contrast to the bombastic powerhouse releases of 2015 and 2016.
