Grange des Peres Blanc 2020

Domaine de la Grange des Pères Blanc 2020 is a full-bodied, oak-aged white blend from the Languedoc region of southern France. Domaine de la Grange de Pères is one of the most celebrated wine estates in the Languedoc region. It was established in 1989 in Aniane - a stone`s throw from Mas de Daumas Gassac – in Hérault by the late Laurent Vaillé. This followed winemaking experience at such illustrious producers as Coche-Dury in Burgundy, Gérard Chave in Hermitage and Eloi Dürrbach at Domaine Trévallon in Provence. Sadly, Laurent died in 2021 at the age of 57. His brother, Bernard, now manages the domaine. Vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically principles. Just two wines are made at the domaine. one white (using Chardonnay, Roussanne and Marsanne with a small amount of Petit Manseng) and one red (typically Syrah and Mourvèdre, with smaller proportions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Counoise). The 2020 white was matured for 24 months in barriques and bottled unfiltered.
