Based in Beaune, Louis Jadot is one Burgundy`s largest producers, making over 220 different wines. The maison was originally founded in 1859 by Louis Henri Denis Jadot, 30 years after the family had bought its very first vineyard, the Clos des Ursules. This particular release is their Clos Saint-Jacques, a premier cru cuvée available here in a luxurious 9-litre bottle. The wines from the 2017 vintage are widely considered very good, having benefited from one of the most consistent growing seasons in recent years.
