Founded in 1919 in Marsannay, Domaine Clair-Daü was split up in 1985. Located between Chambolle-Musginy and Morey-Saint-Denis, Bonne-Mares produces some of the great Burgundy wines and Clair-Daü undoubtedly contributed to its fame. Whilst small in yields, 1978 is widely considered one of the finest vintages of the era.
